Dina Jacobs
President
Ms. Jacobs co-founded Accounting Assets, Inc. in 1990. She has been in the staffing and recruiting industry for twenty-four years, and has hands-on experience that spans the full spectrum of recruiting, from candidate placement to client relations. Through the years, her hard work and dedication have helped her to become an expert in the field.
She began her career as a Temporary Help Manager for Forbes Temporaries, and was then promoted to their direct hire division, Forbes Associates, where she excelled at building successful relationships with prestigious clients and executive-level candidates in the accounting field. Her professional background also includes experience as an On-Site Coordinator for a NYSE, multi-national, information technology firm, where she monitored 200 consultants for a national placement firm.
At the present time, Ms. Jacobs maintains an active leadership role within the firm, overseeing daily activities, as well as training and mentoring her recruiting team. She values integrity, and holds customer service as her TOP priority. She hires professionals with an “ownership” type mentality, and has built a team on these principles. Ms. Jacobs is a member of AAFA, a national network of affiliates, of the leading privately owned finance and accounting recruiting firms in the country. AAFA selects their firm members based on the firm’s recognition in their respective communities as providing the highest quality service. Ms Jacobs has also been involved in The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia, Inc. teaching adults to read.

Mr. Jacobs was able to fulfill a life long dream of opening his own business in 1990. Immediately prior to opening AAI, Mr. Jacobs had ten year experience, as General Manager for a large local accounting and finance staffing firm, successfully driving growth in production by emphasizing to his associates the importance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity, quality and commitment to superior service. Mike also had experience implementing, from start to finish, a successful real estate venture that was involved in the property management industry. Along with this experience, and his natural entrepreneurial abilities Accounting Assets, Inc, was created and built on a solid foundation and belief that a company’s employees are its most valuable asset.
Mr. Jacobs philosophy as an active manager of Accounting Assets, Inc., is to partner with his professional team of recruiters at Accounting Assets, to ensure that our clients needs are met by identifying and fulfilling their specific business needs, as well as assisting candidates with their goals, to obtain a position that will satisfy their career and personal goals.
Mr. Jacobs is a graduate of Towson University, is currently active in several local charities and business organizations, Treasurer and Member on the Board of Directors of a humanitarian non-profit organization, and most recently selected by AAFA, a long standing and prestigious Organization made up of members throughout the United States and Canada of independently owned Accounting and Finance recruiting firms.
